The Unspoken Truths Series

Our CEO and Founder, Chantée Christian, came across a quote that read “Black is hard to do and be. It is African with none of the history and American with none of the privilege”; and that is where the idea for checking on fellow Black professionals came from. While many may say these conversations are uncomfortable, we believe they are necessary. The intent behind the discussions is not just to have a discussion, but to inspire action.

“Winning awards is not the measure of true success, but it is certainly a nice recognition along the journey.”

“I have been extremely impressed with the panels Chantée has assembled for her Unspoken Truths series. Hearing these amazing people discuss how being Black has affected their lives, careers, and health, has led me toward greater self-awareness by exposing blind spots and unconscious biases. The insights I have taken from these sessions will allow me to better communicate with, and advocate for, my Black friends and colleagues.”

“…Thanks for providing a meaningful platform for others to share their expertise and talents. We are climbing Jacob’s ladder and when we can climb no more, we bend our backs so others can climb! Keep on climbing!”
